"Supporting Young People to live successful and fulfilling lives"

At LASHA we strive to provide the highest quality of nurturing and support to our young people in order that they feel happy, safe and secure within their home.

Our goal is for our young people to leave our semi-independent provision feeling equipped with the skills, knowledge and resources to be effective and successful individuals in society. We will encourage all of our young people to set aspirational goals to work towards and as a “family” we will support our young people in achieving their desires.

Our service is aimed at supporting Local Authority Looked After Children and those facing homelessness who for one reason or another require a semi-independent provision to learn the essential skills to live independently before they venture out into the big wide world.

We provide safe 24 hour/7 days a week fully staffed placements for our young people aged 16- 18 years and single and supported units to young people aged 18-25 years who require ongoing outreach and mentoring support to enable them to be self-sufficient.

Our support service is tailored to the young person’s individual needs which can range from low-level support to the higher end of support.

Our placement and support rates again are tailored but are inclusive of 8 hours a week key work sessions at a minimum, any additional key work sessions will be factored into the inclusive support package that will be assessed for the young person.

The young people we accommodate, and support have varying needs. All needs are assessed against our needs assessment and the matching risk assessment of the young people currently in placement.
